About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP Procurement for the Americas Business Unit. The successful candidate will be tasked with leading the development and implementation of procurement strategies for a diverse range of third-party spend categories, including brewing ingredients, packaging materials, logistics, capital equipment, industrial services, marketing, IT, HR, travel, and branded merchandise. This role is pivotal in driving annual cost improvements and total procurement financial value, with a baseline spend of approximately $7B. The VP Procurement will also be responsible for leading a large team of procurement professionals, setting the strategic direction for the function, and ensuring alignment with the company's goals and objectives. Close partnership with the EMEA and APAC procurement functions is essential to drive enterprise strategy and supplier relationships. Candidates for this role should have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with a preference for a Master's degree, and at least 15 years' of relevant procurement experience. The role requires an authentic leader with advanced procurement skills, including category management, negotiation, and supplier relationship management. Experience in a large CPG company, particularly in the beverage industry, is highly valued. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, capable of influencing leadership and delivering results, and will have a proven track record of working in virtual teams and fast-paced environments. The role also demands a leader who is adept at building relationships with diverse stakeholders and is committed to the values of the company, including a focus on sustainability and social responsibility.
