We're looking for a skilled and highly motivated Electrical Engineer to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for designing and programming a variety of electrical systems, ensuring they meet all code requirements and project specifications. You'll also play a key role in quality assurance and mentorship, guiding junior engineers in their development.
ResponsibilitiesDesign and program diverse electrical systems, including lighting, power, fire alarm, telecommunications, and security .
Perform comprehensive calculations for electrical system designs , with a focus on lighting systems and their associated controls.
Conduct QA/QC reviews of design work to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Review contractor shop drawing submittals for adherence to contract documents as needed.
Collaborate effectively with owners and architects throughout project lifecycles.
Conduct thorough code compliance research to inform designs.
Oversee and provide guidance to junior engineers, fostering their professional growth.
Proficiency in Revit and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and International Energy Conservation Code (IECC) .
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills , both written and verbal.
Proven ability to solve complex problems effectively and efficiently.
Demonstrated self-direction, creativity, and innovation in design solutions.
Exceptional attention to detail .
A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program is desired.
3 to 7+ years of electrical engineering experience specializing in the design, maintenance, and/or operation of AC power systems, fire alarm systems, and communications systems .
PE License or EIT certification is a plus .
