Job Description

The Agile Transformation Coach is responsible for leading and championing agility across the organization. In this role, you will assist teams in adopting the FBIN Agile mindset, principles, and best practices. Use subject matter expertise to coach, influence, teach, and mentor employees at all levels regarding ways of working, key behaviors, and frameworks that drive success.

Location: Deerfield, IL, Hybrid

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Agile Transformation Engagements to implement FBIN Agile practices organization-wide, enhancing business agility and delivery efficiency.
  2. Advise Leadership & Stakeholders by collaborating with product owners, management, and executives to define and evolve the Agile transformation roadmap and governance.
  3. Coach & Mentor Teams and Coaches, guiding cross-functional teams, Scrum Masters, and other Agile Coaches in agile principles and practices.
  4. Build Agile Delivery Mindset by offering strategic guidance on Agile methodologies and facilitating conflict resolution.
  5. Design and Facilitate Agile Ceremonies, ensuring they are action-oriented and results-driven.
  6. Promote Open Communication among teams and stakeholders to foster a positive, inclusive environment.
  7. Share Best Practices with other Agile Coaches to standardize and scale successful approaches.
  8. Measure & Report Progress using KPIs like flow efficiency, cycle time, and team health; conduct Agile maturity assessments.
  9. Focus on Team Health by monitoring commitments, pace, and quality, and helping teams adapt as needed.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • 5-8 years of Agile coaching experience, with at least 3 years leading or managing Agile Coaches/Scrum Masters at an enterprise scale.
  • Deep expertise in Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or other scaled Agile frameworks.
  • Proven leadership and influencing skills across organizational levels.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
  • Experience delivering Agile transformations in large environments (20+ teams).
  • Experience mentoring coaches and building internal Agile communities.
  • Familiarity with agile tooling (e.g., Jira) and continuous delivery pipelines.
  • Strong collaboration skills across functions like Product Management, Architecture, QA, and DevOps.

Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

Working Environment & Reporting:

  • Reports to the Director of Agile Operations.
  • Partner with Product/Category Management, Program Management, HR, and executives.
  • This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days/week onsite (Tue-Thu).

Additional Information:
