Genworth is seeking an Agile Program Coach who can help individual delivery teams in the Data Transformation area, and the enterprise improve agility through the application of Agile. You will be responsible for providing effective facilitation, leadership, and coaching to support self-organizing teams and their delivery of successful, high quality, valuable solutions via Agile frameworks, such as Scrum and Kanban. You should be driven to provide quality solutions to challenging problems. You will be called on to guide and coach existing teams, as well as to on-board new teams to an Agile framework. This will be done via conducting formal training sessions as well as role-based coaching and high-level team coaching. In addition to working with Agile delivery teams, you will be responsible for supporting the overall delivery framework, which also accommodates waterfall and iterative-based teams. Responsibilities include leading Genworth’s enterprise transition to Agile frameworks, training teams, coaching Product Owners and Development Teams on backlog management and self-organization, facilitating team and enterprise maturity assessments, and developing Enterprise Agile Standards. Requirements include a BS or BA in a related field or equivalent experience, at least 5 years using Agile principles and frameworks, 3 years as a Scrum Master/Agile Coach, 1 year with Kanban teams, strong leadership and communication skills, and Certified Scrum Master certification. Nice to have skills include IT experience, Kanban certification, Agile scaling knowledge, and experience with Agile tools and data transformation efforts.
